Waveland, MS / Buccaneer State Park

I was glad the heavy rain we drove through had cleared up by the time we arrived at Buccaneer State Park. So far (knock on wood), we have not had to hitch up or unhitch in bad weather. We stayed two nights at the park in Waveland, MS, so we had an entire day to drive around the area and hang out at the beach. There were some really nice homes along the shore that we enjoyed looking at. There were also a few cool trees that had angels carved into them. It wasn’t hard to find a deserted spot on the beach, since not many people were out. We ate a picnic lunch and just hung out for a few hours enjoying the sunshine and the ocean sound!
