On our way back to Dundalk, we stopped to see Kilkenny Castle. Very pretty and very large!

Well, that was our last thing to do before dropping Jeremy off in Dundalk. It’s been a long, tiring, but enjoyable 10 days! I can’t believe how smoothly all of various lodging and attraction details have gone. We’ve been able to stick to the plan I made without issues, praise God! After dropping Jeremy off, Randy & I drove back to Dublin Airport and dropped the car off. Randy wasn’t sad at all to be done with driving, but the tiny little car served us well. And it was an awesome way to see so much of Ireland with a bit of flexibility in each day’s schedule; as opposed to being on a tour guide’s schedule.
We then caught a bus near our hotel, Travelodge Plus in Dublin City Centre. (We’re thankful for the bus dude working at the airport who helped us figure out which one to get on and where to get off!) The bus got us within about a 5 minute walk to the hotel, so not bad at all. After checking in, we went back out to explore Dublin a bit and ate dinner at O’Sheas Restaurant.
