Not much to say about this stay at Lundeens Landing for three nights. Randy made the comment that it looked like the place old RVs go, since there are a lot of campgrounds that restrict to no more than 10 years old. It looked like a lot of people lived there, which usually looks trashier because they have more stuff collected around their RV. It was next to Rock River, which was nice.

On Sunday, we drove about 20 minutes to River City Church in Moline, which was fine. Driving through the local towns was not impressive either. Just really old and run down, without any renovations or rejuvenation projects. The church service was crammed in a smaller room because the ceiling collapsed in their sanctuary a couple of years ago, and they decided to totally renovate the 100 yr old building. We were told seats were saved in the first couple of places we tried to sit, so we ended up in a side section that had obstructed views of the stage. I wasn’t familiar with most of the songs they sang, but was able to catch on easy enough. The sermon was interesting and thought provoking, on healing, but I think he took the verse he emphasized out of context.

After church, we went grocery shopping and went back to the RV. We talked about going to the John Deere Pavilion but then decided we really didn’t care enough about seeing John Deere stuff to bother, haha. It’s getting harder to find unique things to do in an area, since we’ve done so much stuff now! But it’s nice to have a place to just rest, too, without feeling FOMO.
