The Dingle Peninsula is a popular loop to drive in the southern part of Ireland. It took a couple of hours to drive down to it from Bunratty. Here’s the list of the popular spots that we stopped at…
Inch Beach. Cars could drive and park on the beach.

Minard Castle. We couldn’t find a trail to actually get up to the castle, but it was a pretty area non-the-less.

Dingle Town. We just walked up and down a few blocks to say we saw the town, then continued on the loop.

Coumeenoole Beach

Dun Chapin Pier. This was my favorite area of the day. We hung out here for a couple of hours wandering around to various view points, which kept getting better and better! Very dramatic!

Conor Pass

The Maharees

Caherconree Scenic Route

We checked into Murphey’s Farmhouse then walked a minute down the road to get dinner at the Anvil Bar & Restaurant. They had Hurling on TV, so we watched enough to figure out the gist of the rules. We had noticed a bunch of flags flown at homes as we drove around and Jeremy told us they flew their County flags when their team would be playing in a big Hurling competition. Evidently, it’s a big deal there.
