We stopped for one night at Hometown RV Park in Jonesville, NC. Once we got settled, we drove another 30 minutes to Mt. Airy, to check out the Andy Griffith Museum and some of the sites where The Andy Griffith Show was filmed. We got a kick out of the Read more…
We stayed at Sesquicentennial State Park in Columbia, SC for two nights in order to spend a few hours at Congaree National Park. We also drove around Columbia, SC a bit, stopping to walk around the Riverfront Park and getting a few groceries at Rosewood Market.
We finally left Florida and stopped in Richmond Hill, GA for a couple of days, staying at Fort McAllister State Park. We didn’t do much here, but did take a short walk around the campground and drove into Richmond Hill to fuel up. Around the campground, we enjoyed the wildlife Read more…

While visiting the Everglades and Biscayne National Parks, we stayed at the Long Pine Key Campground for three nights.
